What is the Uptime Monitor for?

The Uptime Monitor is part of the GlockApps email testing and monitoring service. It compliments DMARC Analytics and allows to proactively determine issues with email authentication records (DMARC, SPF, and DKIM) and blacklisted IP addresses that can affect email deliverability. In addition to that, the Uptime Monitor allows to monitor the website and mail server availability (HTTP, TCP, and TLS monitors) so that you can make sure that they are live and running 24/7.

The Uptime Monitor is automatically activated by the system as soon as you start using DMARC Analytics. It creates free monitors for the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for each domain found in the Return-Path field (SPF Domain in DMARC reports). Free monitors work every 2 hours.

If you want the monitors to work at a shorter interval and/or set up monitors for other domains, you have to get a paid plan with a suitable number of uptime monitors and IP monitors.
