How do I limit the amount of DMARC reports?

There is no way to limit the amount of DMARC report analytics. GlockApps receives all DMARC reports as far as you have the DMARC record pointing to GlockApps in the domain’s DNS.

If the quota for DMARC messages defined in the subscription plan is exceeded, GlockApps doesn’t stop processing the reports. We charge an over-usage fee counting the messages that go beyond the quota. The over-usage fee depends on the subscription plan.

If you don’t want to pay an over-usage fee, you can:

  1. Add the domain to the Excluded Domains list before the quota is reached.
  2. Remove the DMARC record pointing to GlockApps for the domain, which causes the volume to exceed the quota.
  3. Upgrade to the next tier or create a custom plan that covers the necessary amount of DMARC emails. DMARC non-compliant emails are not counted towards the total volume, so a sudden spoofing campaign will not cause the plan limit to exceed.
