{"id":526,"date":"2021-03-31T10:08:17","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T10:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=526"},"modified":"2026-01-29T08:34:56","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T08:34:56","slug":"what-dmarc-messages-mean","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/art\/what-dmarc-messages-mean\/","title":{"rendered":"What do DMARC Messages in the plans mean?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The number of DMARC messages in the free and paid plans is the number of the email messages that meet ANY of these criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1) are sent from the user&#8217;s authorized IP addresses included in the user&#8217;s domain SPF record;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) passed SPF evaluation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) passed <a href=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/blog\/what-is-dkim-dkim-checker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DKIM evaluation<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, DMARC messages include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>all the messages sent by the Known sources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the messages sent by the Forward sources that pass DMARC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a rule, the messages sent by the Unknown sources are not calculated against the DMARC messages quota because they are sent by illegal sources and don&#8217;t pass any of the email authentication tests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is recommended to choose a plan that covers the number of DMARC messages which is the same or is higher than the number of messages you send from all your legal sources per month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you exceed the quota for DMARC messages allocated by your plan, we will charge you an over-usage fee at the rate indicated on our <a href=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/pricing\/\">pricing page<\/a>.
