Thanks to built-in integrations, you can quickly connect GlockApps with your Gmail or Google Workspace account, Outlook, Hotmail or Office 365 account. Additionally, you can integrate GlockApps with the SMTP settings of email service providers and delivery services that allow to use their SMTP servers in third party applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the steps to connect to your Google account from GlockApps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In your account, go to&nbsp;<strong>Inbox Insight -&gt; Sending Accounts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>&#8220;Create Sending Account.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Type your sending accout name. It can be any name in order you can recognize the sending account in the dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select <strong>Gmail<\/strong> as your email service provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>&#8220;Continue with Google.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1037\" height=\"822\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/gmail-sending-account.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1283\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the Google account you want to connect with. Go through the login and verification process if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, click <strong>&#8220;Continue.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"742\" height=\"884\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/gmail-sending-account-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1284\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Put the check mark for the <strong>&#8220;Send email on your behalf&#8221; <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>&#8220;Continue.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"726\" height=\"982\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/gmail-sending-account-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1285\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If the connection is successful, your Google account will appear in the Primary Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1523\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/gmail-sending-account-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1287\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you can configure additional settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Header Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When sending your message to the seed list, GlockApps will only retain certain message headers such as &#8216;MIME-Version&#8217;, &#8216;Content-Type&#8217;, &#8216;Reply-To&#8217;, &#8216;List-Id&#8217;, &#8216;List-Unsubscribe&#8217;, and &#8216;Subject&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you wish GlockApps to retain other message headers, list them in the field separated by commas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, you can type a name and value of a new header field to be added to the message headers while sending your message to the seed list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <strong>&#8220;Add Custom Headers&#8221;<\/strong> to add a new custom header field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When done, click <strong>&#8220;Save&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If no custom headers are needed, skip these settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1032\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/custom-header-settings.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1286\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proxy Testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A proxy testing mode allows you to send the message to a single proxy email address instead of the whole seed list. The message will be then re-sent to the chosen seed list via your sending account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proxy testing eliminates the steps involved in the manual testing and provides a quick and easy email testing option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be able to use this mode, you have to generate a proxy email address that will be associated with the sending account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this, click <strong>&#8220;Add Proxy to this Sending Account.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1516\" height=\"366\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/add-proxy-address.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1290\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Verify the selection of spam filters and inbox providers for proxy testing. You can remove the check marks next to the providers that you don&#8217;t want to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Throttling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, set the email throttling if required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, GlockApps, will send the message to the full seed list at one go. To spread email sending over time, click <strong>&#8220;Change Throttling.&#8221;<\/strong> This may be a safer sending mode if you are concerned about your email reputation or if the sending account has any restrictions or limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1050\" height=\"695\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/change-throttling.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1294\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose the <strong>&#8220;Emails will be sent sequentially, one email every xx seconds (minutes, hours)&#8221;<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clock <strong>&#8220;Done.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"838\" height=\"353\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/set-throttling.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1292\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Folder for Proxy Tests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you can choose a folder to save the tests made via a proxy email address to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, the tests will be saved to the <strong>Home<\/strong> folder in <strong>Reports &gt; Proxy Tests<\/strong>. You can choose a different folder or create a new folder right from the menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Link Checker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>GlockApps verifies the links used in the email to provide you with a report about valid and invalid URLs. The exception is the unsubscribe link which is not followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can disable the Link Checker for proxy tests if you don&#8217;t use URLs in the messages or don&#8217;t want to have the links clicked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are done with the settings, click <strong>&#8220;Create Proxy Address.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"995\" height=\"798\" src=\"https:\/\/glockapps.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/proxy-settings-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1293\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Your sending account will appear in the main dashboard together with a proxy email address.
